Great fan - nice design
This fan is relatively quiet and does a good job circulating the air in a room without having a gale blowing. As an artist I appreciate the design and I like the way it rotates down to keep the fan dust free. My one and only complaint is that it is difficult to turn on and off and to change the speed. The switch is located at the front on the bottom. It is a rotating switch and a little stiff. This was obviously done for design purposes, so that the switch would not intrude upon the design. In this instance they may have gone a little too far for design's sake. Having said that, it is still a superior fan and worth the price. I would buy this again and would recommend it.
Perfect little fan
This perfect little fan shipped overnight and became the ideal addition to my place. The wind power is enough to cool my 250 square foot apartment and at 2 feet tall, it simply folds down to blend right into the room, not making it look like a fan at all. Definitely would recommend to someone in need an efficient and durable product under $50 bucks.
Bigger, Better, Stronger
The Vornado V10 Flippi creates a powerful enough stream to be felt up to 15 feet away, maybe 20. The advertisement will tell you otherwise, but there is a reason why it's an advertisement. As long as you understand that, you'll appreciate this modern looking fan. I use it on stage when I play with my band and I can honestly say, it kept me cool for an entire 2 hours!
I bought a V6 version, but simply put, it was NOT strong enough for any other purpose other than blow straight at your face from 3 feet away. I upgraded to the V10 and am glad I did.
