Shutoff valve unreliable
This heater operates as advertised if the thermocouple-secured shutoff valve allows the flame to turn on. It takes a lot of fiddling with the shutoff valve to turn to the two 'on' positions even after the pilot has been lit for 15 min. The pilot alignment appears to be as shown on the instruction manual. I find this difficult lighting to be a nuisance.

I have used the heater once and it works great so far. I had no problem with fumes as I used it in a well ventilated trailer.
