There is no substitute...
I love my humidifier but I do go through these filters (about two or three each winter). I'm thankful to find them on Amazon cheaper...I was spending much more until I found them here. They do last a while longer if you take them out every week or two and rinse them with water/vinegar.

This product works really well for my sunbeam humidifier. I have had rotten luck trying to find filters where I live. NOBODY carried these! Finally, I ran across these on Amazon and lucked out with free delivery, so I purchased them just in time for winter. They do the job and arrived in a timely fashion as promised. Love it!
Worked fine
The filter arrived in good time. It first appeared too large for the unit, but it squeezed in OK and is working fine.
