Refrigerator Main Control
Main Control Board works very well and very happy with performance of refrigerator. The price of the board was better from this supplier than others I had chacked with for the exact same item. The shipping was within the time limit I expected.
GE WR55X10942 MOTHERBOARD
My GE Profile refrigerator began to act up. The fridge would freeze fruit, vegetables and soft drinks and milk too. The freezer would suddenly thaw out and melt everything. Google searches revealed it was the motherboard or so I hoped. I didn't have anything other than a screwdriver and a pair of needlenose vise grips. You will need the grips to squeeze down on the four white plastic retainers holding the board onto the fridge. There is a ridge that holds everything plugged onto the board on each socket. I didnt have a tool to open it up so I broke it off with the screwdriver and then everything unplugged easily. You just have to remember the colors of the wires so you can plug everything back onto the new motherboard. My temperature was 16 degrees in the freezer and 72 degrees in the fridge. After I turned it on with the new board, it returned to 0 degrees freezer and 37 degrees fridge and has been working ever since. Someone told me a repairman came to their place and charged over...
